☆☆☆☆It taste like chemical
amazon

I purchased a MuscleBlaze Biozyme Whey Protein on 31st May. I bought it in advance and kept it sealed because I wanted to use it only after my previous protein finished. I opened the container for the first time just two days ago, and I was extremely disappointed to find that the protein has large lumps throughout the powder. It doesn’t seem to be in good condition, despite the container being unopened until now. This is not the quality I expected from MuscleBlaze. I trusted your brand, but receiving a product in this condition is unacceptable. I would appreciate an explanation and a resolution, whether it’s a replacement or a refund. Very disappointed with this experience.

When did Optimum nutrition become so expensive ?
reddit

I have been using gold standard whey since 2010 I remember the days it was around £25-30 for a 2kg tub. Now every time I go to buy it’s gone up again. Any one recommend a replacement which tastes great UPDATE I have swapped to my protein impact whey £45 for 60 servings.

Black Hammer Nutrition Isolate Whey — anyone tried it?
reddit

Found this on Amazon.de — Black Hammer Nutrition Isolate Whey Protein (Gorilla 150), 2kg for €49.99. Nutritional profile looks solid: 30g protein, 110 kcal, 0.6g sugar per 30g scoop. Whey isolate blend with BCAAs and glutamina added. The brand is German (Black Hammer GmbH, Münster, founded \~2022) and seems legit, but I can barely find any user reviews online. Has anyone tried this or know if the label values are accurate? Mainly looking for high protein / low calorie for muscle building — trying to decide if it's worth the gamble over more established brands like ESN or ON . Thanks

What have I done?
reddit

I think my supplements may have gotten out of hand. I’m a 45-year-old guy going through what can only be described as a midlife health crisis. About three years ago I decided I was tired of being overweight, unhealthy, and feeling older than I actually was. Since then I’ve lost quite a bit of weight, started working out, cleaned up my diet, and became obsessed with optimizing everything. The problem is that somewhere along the way I may have crossed the line from “health conscious” to “human science experiment.” Every time I read a study, listen to a podcast, or browse Reddit, I seem to find another supplement that sounds like a great idea. Now I have a morning stack, an afternoon stack, powders, capsules, gummies, fish oils, antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fiber supplements, and enough containers in my pantry to stock a small GNC. For context, I take the following almost daily (except zinc and vitamin E which I only take twice a week): **Active Oral Stack** Kirkland Signature Adult Multivitamin Orgain Creatine Monohydrate Nutricost Glycine Powder Country Farms Fiber Care Gummies Kirkland Signature Whey Protein Sports Research Onega-3-fish oil Alive By Nature NMN Nutricost NAC Powder Nutricost Vitamin K2 + Vitamin D3 Nature Made Vitamin C Nutricost Taurine Nutricost TUDCA Nature’s Way Saw Palmetto Berries Gaia Herbs Ashwagandha Root Nutricost Phosphatidylserine Pure Encapsulations Magnesium Citrate Nutricost Citrus Bergamot Jarrow Formulas Astaxanthin Thorne Thyroid Health Complex Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Kirkland Psyllium Capsules Nutricost Hyaluronic Acid Solgar Vitamin E CoQ10 Milk Thistle The crazy thing is… I have to admit I’m healthier today than I’ve been since my 20s. My bloodwork is generally excellent, I’ve lost over 100 pounds, my energy is good, and I feel better than I have in years. So now I’m wondering: At what point does a supplement stack become ridiculous? Am I actually helping myself, or have I just developed a very expensive hobby that makes me feel productive? Anyone else start with a multivitamin and end up accidentally becoming a part-time pharmacist?

Protein powder is such a ripoff these days. Anything good and reasonable?
reddit

Been a while since I bought it but prices are insane. I used to buy ON but $55-$60+ for all these brands for 2lb is criminal. Whey is produced from leftover scraps from the dairy industry and ingredients are dirt cheap. So who still makes a protein powder with few fillers or sugar/carbs and just a decent chocolate flavor? I consider around $20 for 2lb reasonable. Edit: no costco either not an option

Is my supplement stack FINALLY good?
reddit

I spent way too much time and money listening to feedback from the community about my stack. I know once I figure it out, the benefits are going to be great and I’ve already experienced a ton of them, but I just want to find the right balance. After so much advice and money spent, I think I FINALLY dialed down everything I need without going overboard. Please let me know what you think 1. Pure Encapsulations O.N.E. Multivitamin 2. Omega-3, 2070mg EPA & 780mg DHA 3. Vitamin D3 5000 IU + Vitamin K2 100mcg 4. Boron Triple Complex 3mg 5. NAC 1200mg 6. Glycine 3000mg 7. \[BEFORE BED\] Magnesium L-Threonate 1333mg (96mg) I also take Whey Protein Isolate 60g & Creatine 5g after the gym

New user question
reddit

**Hello everyone,** This is my first time buying supplements, and I feel like I probably should’ve waited and done more research/testing first. Honestly, I didn’t look into supplements that much — I just watched a couple of YouTube videos, and now I’m seeing a lot of posts talking about toxicity. My questions are: is there any issue with taking these supplements together, and do any of them have toxicity risks? Also, for dosage, should I just follow the instructions on the bottles?

★★★☆☆Great product but pricing over the top for basic whey powder+concentrate version
amazon

Great product loved the mango flavour ,very less bloating.Bought this many no: of times. But now even for entry level whey powder +concentrate it has become super expensive, not worth this much pricing. Price increasing faster than gold pricing. Better to switch to other brands.

Olimp or BioTechUSA
reddit

I have been using Olimp Whey isolate protein powder for 4 months now. They are really good. No digestion issue, high quality. They are Germany based. Although recently I have come across with the company called BioTechUSA. I read the reviews from various websites and ppl generally praise it. But some say it causes digestive problems. Has anyone ever used it? If so, is it good?

★★★★★How it works
amazon

I’ve been using MuscleBlaze Biozyme Performance Whey Protein for some time, and it has been a great addition to my fitness routine. The protein mixes well with water or milk and has a smooth texture with a pleasant taste, especially in chocolate flavors. Each serving provides around 25 g of protein, which helps support muscle recovery and growth after workouts. It also contains essential amino acids and BCAAs that are important for building lean muscle and improving performance. One feature I really like is the Enhanced Absorption Formula (EAF) with digestive enzymes. This helps the body absorb protein better and reduces the chances of stomach discomfort after drinking whey protein. Overall, it’s a high-quality whey protein for people who work out regularly and want better muscle recovery and strength. If you are looking for a reliable protein supplement for your fitness journey, this is definitely worth trying. 💪🥤

is any of the hydrolyzed whey protein on the market true to its name ?
reddit

so i have become recently interested in hydrolyzed whey protein due to the fast absorption factor of it. but everytime I check amazon reviews the reviewers are say that the label is false advertising and they had it tested out in a lab and it only contains like 1 % hydro and the rest is concentrate but they can still call it hydro even with such a less quantity. this is the same for everyone including reputable brands like "optimum nutrition" . so this has me worried about even buying it due to the high price tag. I basically want to make sure I am actually getting what I paid for. Which I guess is true for everyone.

Looking for real user reviews on Clearly Whey (NL brand)
reddit

I came across this brand called **Clearly Whey** , looks pretty affordable, but I couldn’t find many real reviews online. If you’ve used it, how was your experience? Taste, mixability, results… and most importantly, is it actually legit and safe? Just want to hear from people who’ve tried it before I decide to buy. Thanks! 🙏

I think the strongest supplement is literally "poop" 💩
reddit

Sometimes I think about how I’m out here buying fancy supplements in glass jars like a civilized adult… while the strongest gut intervention humans have ever invented is literally a poop pill. Like, scientists spent decades mapping the microbiome and the end result was “yeah, turns out borrowing someone else’s bacteria fixes things way better than your probiotic that smells like chalk.” Wild part is it actually works. A *lot*. FMT is basically the Thanos of gut treatments. Balanced everything with a snap while we’re over here arguing about which strain of Lactobacillus “supports mood.” Makes me wonder how far we are from a future where people compare poop donors the way they compare whey protein brands. “Yeah bro, mine’s from a marathon runner with perfect VO2 max and low inflammation. Premium stuff.” Science is unbelievable sometimes. Anyone tried anything that actually moved the needle for their gut, or are we all just one bad meal away from needing a hero donor?

I am looking to try some new supplements! Please Share your favorite brands & products. I will buy some today!
reddit

I use Rule 1 and have also tried every other brand under the sun, but going forward I want to buy from medium sized vendors with products that work and taste great. I want to spend this new year testing our different companies and products that I may not have heard of and also support an honest company made with real products. I currently take whey, clear isolate, creatine, multi, fish oil, a mix of stim and non stim preworkouts depending on what i have on the docket for the day, and some sleep supps! Anyone here with a product they love or a brand they love please let me know so I can dig in! I prefer reddit replies over paid for internet reviews!!! THANK YOU!

Clear whey from bulk.com is bad
reddit

I quit protein powders a while ago because I just couldn't stand the taste anymore and it was bloating me like hell. Then I discovered clear whey from myprotein and it was a game changer. While not really "like a juice", as some people say, it's way way better than any protein powders I tried before (including isolates). A few weeks ago I've decided to switch to bulk.com as they had other supplements that I was interested in (and cheaper overall). Their clear whey sucks so bad. From the moment I opened the package I got that nauseating smell of "warm" milk (for lack of better words) that I absolutely despise and the taste is more similar to my old protein powders ("milky"). And it's not a flavor thing, my go-to from myprotein was Mojito but the last few times I had Peach Tea so from bulk I ordered the same flavor thinking it will be similar. Worst is that I bought 4 kilos because I've read other reviews saying it's similar to other clear whey type of products. Bottom line, if you like clear whey from mylrotein, bulk is not for you, absolutely do not buy without trying if for any reason you want to change. And a question, for those who tried both My Protein and Vilgain, is the taste similar? Trying to not ingurgitate so much sucralose...
